The Trayvon Martin Murder Wasn’t the Worst Crime Here

The shooting was bad enough. Yet somehow the police have managed to turn a senseless, tragic murder into a far worse crime: They’ve declared open-season to SLAUGHTER black children. Are we surprised? No. While it’s true police have a tough job, not all police do that job for the right reasons. Some are thugs, bullies, cowards, veritable criminals w/badges. We are NEVER safe, civil rights are NEVER secure, we are ALWAYS one stupid crime, one stupid law, one stupid police officer away from being at SQUARE-ONE. Arrest the SOB that murdered this harmless child.

I have a theory as to why Progressive media may not appeal to some people: They think we don’t need it. America is wide-open, free, diverse, the golden land of opportunity! Why all the bother over (fill-in-the-blank). Well, it is precisely BECAUSE issues of rights, freedom, safety, justice, equality, and opportunity have been FOUGHT FOR tooth-and-nail, that some may think our fuss over, for instance, the WAR ON WOMEN is too much. It is NOT too much. It is NOT ENOUGH. It will NEVER BE ENOUGH. Ignorance is hiding in the slimy underbelly of politics, just waiting for the right cesspool [ ... ]

This is my comment regarding a video of Warren Buffet, speaking on the subject of corporate taxes. It took me and my lightly-fried brain about 1-1/2 hours to write this comment, I hope to hell it makes sense… Okay, we’re a little scattered here. It is NOT a myth that the corporate tax rate is 35%; IT IS. What seems to be implied here by Buffet is that this rate doesn’t matter, because corporation actually pay a lower EFFECTIVE rate. It DOES matter! It is the percentage applied to TAXABLE INCOME [ ... ]

My Appeal to President Obama Re NDAA

VETO the NDAA, until it definitively & expressly PROHIBITS treatment of US citizens as “enemy combatants”, unless they are proved as such in OPEN COURT. Also, the NDAA must expressly reaffirm our Constitution as the FINAL WORD on these matters, until & unless a court says a person may be treated otherwise, and then ONLY on a case-by-case basis. There is NOTHING worse than taking away our citizen’s RIGHTS, without due process, in the name of “security”. If you do THAT, America as we know it ceases to exist, and then what is really left worth securing? Thank you. PS, CLOSE GITMO.
